A Friend in Deed

A Friend in Deed

18th Jan 2019
We are delighted to announce that Rogers & Norton are teaming up with Friend in Deed to enable us to support a local, not-for-profit, care home that will hugely benefit from their intergenerational schemes.

Rogers & Norton are providing sponsorship for a 6-month period, meaning that residents at Corton House in Norwich city centre, will now receive ‘Little Visitors’ (babies and children of all ages visiting the care home with their parents in order to make some new, older friends). The home will also be able to participate in pen pal initiatives, special events and school projects.

The Sponsorship is a wonderful way for Rogers & Norton to fulfil our corporate social responsibility (CSR) and give something back to the local community.

Employees from across Rogers & Norton will be given time to attend sessions with their own children, joining in with all the fun that Little Visitors scheme has to offer. We are excited about the support that we are able to offer Friend in Deed and the opportunities this opens up for them to help not-for-profit care homes. We are looking forward to see lots of new friendships developing across generations, Rogers & Norton are committed to support Friend in Deed so that they can continue to promote kindness and reduce loneliness.
