R&N assists LSI Architects with new venture

As has been reported recently, LSI Architects have expanded their services into Qatar.  Rogers and Norton were delighted to assist LSI Architects with their legal requirements for their exciting expansion and construction works in Qatar.

Peter Hastings comments:

"Trevor Price and his team have researched the Qatar market for sometime now, and when the plans were coming to fruition, our construction and commercial teams advised and assisted on the required legal and business formalities, including the drafting of construction contracts. 

We wish LSI every success in their new venture."

Peter adds "In recent months, we have seen an increase in international work for our commercial and litigation teams, receiving instructions from clients based in Dubai, the Caribbean and throughout Europe.

In particular, we have recieved instructions to act on a multi-million pound Arbitation, which is proceeding through the International Court of Arbitration and disputes with HMRC (Customs and Excise) and the Border Agency."

BBQ

The Annual Rogers & Norton BBQ was held in the grounds of the office on the evening of Tuesday 17th July and despite real fears that the heavens would open upon us as had been the case the previous day, we were blessed with a warm sunny evening. 

A marquee had been erected to give shelter on the evening if necessary but this was fortunately not required.  Over 250 guests attended enjoying excellent food, wine and real ale and most took the opportunity to catch up with friends in a very relaxed atmosphere. 

The BBQ is held as an annual event to thank our contacts and clients for their support throughout the year and has become one of the summer social events to attend it seems!

R&N Ball a great success!

The Rogers & Norton 30th Anniversary Charity Ball took place on Saturday 2nd June at Colney Hall and we are delighted to say it was a great success! 

Thank you to all our guests and sponsors for your support and for celebrating with us our 30th Anniversary. The evening was one of the most successful Rogers & Norton balls in our history and you all helped make the night unforgettable.

With the help of over 400 guests we have raised approximately £10,000 to support our chosen charity Nelsons Journey and this figure continues to grow as we collect in further contributions arising from the Ball.

We will have some photographs and highlights from the night on our blog soon so keep checking for updates! We will also confirm the total amount raised for charity in due course.
