Rogers & Norton Charity Golf Day

The 14th Annual Rogers & Norton Charity Golf Day in aid of MacMillan Nurses World's Biggest Coffee Morning will be held at Bawburgh Golf Club on Friday 14th September 2012. Entries have been good so far with 21 teams playing on the day although we do have vacancies for even more teams to take part and support this very worthy Charity and the excellent work that they do every day.

The entry fee for a team of four people is £220 which includes bacon roll and coffee on arrival, 18 holes of golf followed by a 3 course meal in the evening with prizegiving and there are some lovely prizes to be won. The added bonus of taking part is the opportunity to play for the Rogers & Norton Team and Individual trophies too!

We usually have a raffle too and in addition this year an auction of 3 items including a Norwich City FC shirt signed by this season's squad. There are various team and individual competitions taking place on the day as well as the usual nearest the pins and longest drive tests. Mark Spooner, the Professional at Bawburgh, has also kindly agreed to take on allcomers at the 4th hole for a "Beat the Pro" competition for an entry fee of a fiver with all proceeds going to the Charity and we are very grateful to him for his help.

The main emphasis for the event is however to enjoy the day and meet old and new friends whilst helping us to fundraise at the same time and Ian and his staff at Bawburgh are excellent at helping us achieve this.

We do have limited sponsorship opportunities on the day too if you are interested by placing banners on all 18 holes for a modest cost of £50 (except premium holes 1 and 18 which are £100) or sponsoring the nearest the pins and longest drive for the same fee and all proceeds from this go directly to MacMillan Nurses too. An application form is attached showing these opportunities to advertise your Company in more detail as well as an entry form for taking part too.
